Humane Has A Golden Ticket To Turn This Whole Thing Around

CMO at Humane? Here's what you should do

Ever watched Inside Out? One scene from that movie reminds me of Humane’s entire team right now:

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know the whole frenzy around MKBHD’s review of the Humane AI Pin.

ICYMI: Cool idea, great team, really really bad execution. And Marques had some thoughts

Needless to say, the world got talking, and it led to HUGE media coverage.

Some people think Marques was unfair, others think Humane was in the wrong for “existing“ in the first place.

We’re not here to talk about that.

We’re going to talk about how we take this INSANE once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and turn this whole thing around for Humane

Because in case you didn’t notice, the whole world is talking about this:

So let’s say you’re in the boardroom with the entire Humane team right now. Here’s what your two cents could be:

1) Own The Suck

Launch a campaign, promote all your existing customers into an exclusive closed community of beta testers. They trust your vision, they will be your greatest advocates.

These people get new swag, an all-expenses-paid invite to come stay with your team at your HQ for a weekend, and contribute to your V2.

Own that your product sucks.

2) Partner With The Devil

Invite Marques Brownlee (and more tech platforms that called you out) to head this closed community. Everyone had great feedback for the Humane product. the battery sucked, the cameras were bad, the cloud-based-processing was too slow.

Have them work with you and your exclusive community to build a better product for the market. Everyone wins from this.

I love what Humane is trying to achieve and would hate to see them submit to a minor blimp on the road.

They have a golden opportunity to turn this around, and quickly. I’m taking bets :)
