JJK and McDonals' Latest Sauce, E.L.F Selling Lip Balms To Roblox Kids, And More

So much happened last week with Marketing around the world. Here's a few big things you might've missed

Lots of stuff happening in Marketing with AI taking over. Don’t worry though, your jobs are not lost just yet.

Your sad doomsday predictions aside, here’s some really interesting stuff that happened with Marketing last week, all in three minutes or less

Google Audience Targeting Now Possible For App Campaigns

What this means: Google will now allow you to target specific audiences for your app install and engagement ads. You were not able to do this with App Campaigns before.

Why this is important: More specific ad targeting means an overall better conversion rate for app installations, more relevant people downloading specific apps (Maybe now I’ll stop getting ads from shaadi.com)

E.L.F Is Selling Physical Products On Roblox!!!

What this means: Roblox is a game platform that allows users to create their own games and create a personal relationship with their fans.

We’ve seen a whole host of companies come in and try their luck on the platform - from Walmart to STYNGER.

Why this is important: While companies have been dreaming up an opportunity to capitalize this madness that is Roblox, E.L.F has blown past everyone and opened up their own store on the platform. The company is selling hoodies and lip balms, with a host of other products scheduled to follow.

And your aunt thought you couldn’t make money off video games.

X Is Considering Downvotes On Tweets

What this means: X (We’re still calling it Twitter, right?) is testing Downvotes, similar to what we’ve been seeing on Reddit.

Why this is important: With all the bullying that already happens on Twitter, you’d think this Downvotes thing is all but a sure shot to the chest to all yee flat-earthers out there. Lord God Elon seems to like this, however, so we’ll have to see how it plays out. Brace yourselves, nerds.

McDonald’s Launches Jujutsu Kaisen Sauce

What this means: McDonald’s and Crunchyroll have partnered up to launch their first-ever garlic sauce in the US, and who better to address this than the most popular anime show in the world right now.

Why this is important: The Americas is HUGE for anime fans, and this has been the case since Pikachu first aired on American screens. So it’s not surprising when companies flaunt their anime connections every now and then.

The important news? None of the Js in JJK stand for Jain. GARLICCC?????? How dare they????
